Most of us deal with stress in our every day lives without giving it a second thought. Our bodies are able to cope with stress in short bursts and have mechanisms in place to deal with it. However, if we are under stress for a prolonged period our bodies can struggle to cope and this can manifest itself in a number of ways. Stress can result in a variety of symptoms such as insomnia, fatigue, weight gain, mood swings, headaches, food cravings, lack of concentration, frequent colds/infections and digestive problems.
Even if it isn’t possible to remove the source of stress immediately, there are a number of things that can be done both nutritionally and through lifestyle adjustments that can help the body to cope. My Stress Management Plan is designed to assess the level of stress you are currently experiencing, along with any symptoms, and put a plan in place to support you mentally and physically.
The plan includes an Adrenal Stress test which is a non-invasive saliva test which measures your stress hormone levels and can be done at home.
