My mission is to educate, motivate and inspire others to improve their health and wellbeing so they can live the life they want to live.
What qualifies me to do this? On a personal level, I’ve had my fair share of health-related challenges. I’ve had Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) since my teens and struggled with emotional eating which unsurprisingly resulted in rapid weight gain. It has taken many years of educating myself about nutrition, plus a lot of personal development work, to re-establish a healthy relationship with food and settle at a healthy weight.
It may seem obvious but it was only after a visit to see a Nutritional Therapist to address my IBS that I realised how much of a difference changing your diet can make. Over the years I have been on almost every diet known to man with varying degrees of success. Once I started to learn about nutrition I began to understand why these diets weren’t working for me in the long term and I could see a link between what I ate and my mood and emotional state.
I also discovered coaching, which was the missing piece of the puzzle. My coach taught me how to change my attitude and perspective on my health but also every other area of my life. My passion for nutrition and coaching had been ignited and I decided that it was going to be my future career.
On a professional level, I am now a qualified Nutritional Therapist and a Certified Professional Coach and I combine these skills to support my clients. Prior to starting my business I worked for over 20 years in London for major financial institutions so I am familiar with the stresses and strains of corporate life!
All the personal challenges I have faced, plus my education, has given me a huge amount of hands on experience, knowledge and empathy for others in similar situations. After applying everything I have learned to my own life I feel passionate about helping others facing similar challenges transform their lives too.
